Rydyn ni\u2019n falch iawn o groesawu Beth Rees i d\u00eem Anabledd Dysgu Cymru. Gwnaethon ni ofyn i Beth ddweud wrthon ni amdani hi ei hun a’u r\u00f4l <\/strong>newydd fel ein Swyddog Polisi a Chyfathrebu.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rwy’n llawn cyffro fy mod i wedi ymuno ag Anabledd Dysgu Cymru fel y Swyddog Polisi a Chyfathrebu newydd, gan weithio ochr yn ochr \u00e2 Sam a Kai yn y t\u00eem Cyfathrebu.<\/p>\n

Fy r\u00f4l i yw helpu i gyfleu barn y sefydliad ar bolisi anabledd dysgu. Mae hyn yn cynnwys cwrdd \u00e2’n haelodau, ein cefnogwyr a phobl yn sector, ysgrifennu erthyglau a chyfrannu at ymgynghoriadau\u2019r llywodraeth.<\/p>\n

Rwy\u2019 wedi bod yn ymwneud \u00e2 gwaith cyfathrebu a pholisi yn y sector elusennol am y 10 mlynedd diwethaf, ond yn fwy diweddar, bues i\u2019n gweithio fel Uwch Ymgynghorydd Iechyd a Lles i gwmni TG byd-eang. Cefnogais i gannoedd o weithwyr gyda’u hiechyd a’u lles a chynhaliais i weithdai am anabledd, niwroamrywiaeth ac iechyd meddwl. Trwy’r r\u00f4l hon, cynorthwyais i weithwyr i gael mynediad at addasiadau rhesymol os oedden nhw\u2019n profi unrhyw rwystrau neu heriau yn y gwaith. Fel Swyddog Cymorth Cyntaf Iechyd Meddwl ardystiedig, roeddwn i hefyd yn aelod o’r rhwydweithiau niwroamrywiaeth ac anabledd mewnol, gan weithredu fel eiriolwr dros newid.<\/p>\n

Fel rhywun sydd wedi cael diagnosis hwyr o awtistiaeth ac ADHD, rwy\u2019 wedi bod yn cyflwyno, siarad ac ysgrifennu am y pwnc hwn ers blynyddoedd lawer. Ym mis Rhagfyr 2024, ar \u00f4l astudio’n rhan-amser, graddiais i gyda gradd meistr mewn ysgrifennu creadigol lle\u2019r oeddwn i\u2019n bennaf am anghydraddoldeb rhywedd a niwroamrywiaeth.<\/p>\n

Y tu allan i’r gwaith, rwy’n mwynhau rhedeg (os oes coffi a chacen wedyn) a gwisgo dyngar\u00ees, ac rwy\u2019n cynnal clwb llyfrau misol. Rwy’n briod ac yn \u2018fam i gi\u2019, sef Maisey y Westie (sy’n hoff o ymddangos ar alwadau Teams).<\/p>\n
