Gig Buddies Cymru – Kickstart role for young people

We are looking for a Trainee Assistant Gig Buddies Coordinator to work on our Gig Buddies Cymru project. This is a befriending scheme that matches people with a learning disability and/or autism in Wales with a volunteer who shares the same interests, so they can go to gigs and events together.

This role will involve helping the team to:

  • recruit new volunteers and participants
  • keep accurate records
  • organise regular social events
  • collect feedback
  • promote the project, both on social media and at venues/events.

Learning Disability Wales communications team – Kickstart role for young people

We are also looking to employ a Trainee Communications Assistant to support our busy Policy and Communications team. The aim of this role is to help us research, collect and share information in an engaging and accessible way.

This role will involve helping the team to:

  • share content on social media
  • update our website
  • promote our work
  • help with the production of our publications
  • look at how we can improve our communications.
