DWP recruiting disabled people for new Community Partner roles

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is looking for people with lived experience of disability or have worked in a relevant field to join their new Community Partner team, based in Wrexham.

Community Partner teams are a new initiative from DWP that aims to shape the support for disabled people and people with health conditions.

Lead community partners lead a team of community partners to work collaboratively with the third sector in strengthening disability awareness within Jobcentre Plus, across a range of specialisms, tailored to local needs.

DWP are recruiting for the following Community Partner roles, and Lead Community Partner, based in Wrexham, with regular travel across north and mid Wales:

  • Learning Disabilities & Neuro Diverse - Community Partner
  • Pan Disability - Community Partner
  • Young Persons - Community Partner
  • Mental Health - Community Partner
  • Musculoskeletal - Community Partner
  • Drug & Alcohol Dependency - Community Partner
  • Lead Community Partner

The roles are all secondment opportunities. DWP pay the salary to the home organisation, so you continue to be paid by your employer at the DWP scale for the role. The DWP pay scales , and full details for each role, are in the adverts below.
