Learning Disability Wales is seeking to appoint a dynamic,
highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer.
Salary: Learning Disability Wales Salary Scale,
Grade 9, £50,781 - £56,000, 37hrs per week, plus 7.5% pension
You will have the vision to lead and represent the organisation,
create sustainable funding streams and maintain and develop
relationships with partners and stakeholders.
It is a significant time for people with learning disability in
Wales. There is a rising demand for services and support, new major
legislation and continuing financial pressure on public
Learning Disability Wales' role is more important than ever and
the Chief Executive Officer post is key to us achieving our purpose
by amongst other things:
- providing strong strategic and supportive leadership
- working closely with the trustees and supporting and enabling
the staff team
- leading Learning Disability Wales's representation and
networking with Welsh Government and other key agencies
- seeking new funding opportunities, ensuring growth and
maintaining financial viability.
