Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for a new Communications Officer to join our Engage to Change Project.

Salary:  £25,510 to £28,732 (37 hours per week) LDW Salary Grade 5 + Pension

The Engage to Change project is currently running across the whole of Wales to support young people aged 16-25 with a learning disability and/or autism to increase their employability skills and gain paid employment

The project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and Welsh Government, is led by Learning Disability Wales in partnership with supported employment agencies ELITE and Agoriad, self-advocacy organisation All Wales People First and Cardiff University.

The Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in coordinating the project’s external communications activity. If you are a digital native, have excellent written and oral communication skills, preferably in both Welsh and English, and can confidently showcase the stories of Engage to Change participants across Wales through a variety of channels then we would love to hear from you.

As this is a full time post a job share may be considered.  Currently the post is funded until 30 November 2022.
