Sioned Williams MS – Easy Read survey on changes to disability benefits
August 2025 | Member of the Senedd for South Wales West wants to know what you think.
We worked with Sioned Williams to make an Easy Read version of her new survey. It is about the UK Government’s plans to change disability benefits, including Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Universal Credit (UC).
The survey explains what the Government wants to change, when the changes might start, and how they could affect disabled people.
It asks questions about your worries, your money situation, and how the changes could affect your daily life. It also asks if you think the Government is listening to local problems and what might help you feel more confident about work or training, if this is something you want and are able to do.
If you live in the South Wales West area, your views will help show how disabled people and communities may be affected by these plans.
We also made a Welsh Easy Read version of the survey. Both versions are digitally accessible for screen readers and assistive technology users.
