The Engage to Change project was delivered across Wales from 2016 to May 2023. The project worked to to improve the employment prospects of young people with a learning disability, and or autism.

Influence and Informing Engage to Change is it’s legacy project and is running “Knowing me, knowing you” events to bring together families, supported employment providers, young people who have been part of Engage to Change and commissioners to talk and share ideas.

Young people

If you are aged 16 – 25 and have a learning disability, and or autism

  • Find out what employment support is available.
  • Share your experiences of work.
  • Say what support into work is best for you.

Family

If you have a young person with a learning disability, and or autism in your family:

  • Find out what employment support is available.
  • Say what support is needed.
  • Hear what young people from the project have to say about taking part.

Providers

If you are a support provider:

  • Tell people about what support you offer.
  • Find out what else people need.

Commissioners

If you commission services:

  • Find out what people really need.
  • Hear young people’s views about employment support and what works.
