I’m thrilled to be re-joining Learning Disability Wales, where I will be coordinating our Ready to Vote project.

My role will involve helping to develop the content for our workshops and hustings – these are meetings where election candidates or parties debate policies and answer questions from the audience. I will also be delivering training to people with a learning disability about voting and elections. The sessions will be designed to be fun and engaging, encouraging everyone to get involved in democracy.

I will be working closely with our Easy Read Wales team to ensure the information the project produces is accessible and easy to understand.

Alongside this, I will also be supporting our Policy and Communications team to create publicity materials and help promote the project.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing and supporting community sport. I have played lawn bowls for nearly 10 years, I have recently taken up darts, and I am also a water carrier for my local rugby team.

When I have the energy, I enjoy early morning swims before starting my day working from home. I love going on walks with my partner and I also enjoy cruising holidays with my family.
