Young woman working

The Engage to Change project has been working with young people across Wales since 2016.

Engage to Change supports young people with a learning disability or autism aged between 16 and 25 to reach their goals in life.

We help young people who are not in work or education to get the skills they need to find paid jobs.

We help employers to understand and support the needs of people with a learning disability or autism.

We have found that more young men with a learning disability or autism take part in the Engage to Change project than young women.

We want more young women with a learning disability or autism in Wales to think about having a paid job.

We also want more young women to take part in the Engage to Change project.

On 21 January we are holding a free online event about Women in Work.

We will be sharing women’s stories about how having a job has changed their lives.

There will also be information about how the Engage to Change project can support young women with a learning disability or autism to find work.
