At this online meeting, we heard from a number of people about social prescribing and how it may benefit people with a learning disability by reducing loneliness and social isolation.

Social prescribing is a way of connecting people with groups and activities in their communities. Social prescribing is usually accessed by referral from a health professional as an alternative or complementary to medical treatment for a range of health and well-being issues.
